La Baysse a large 18th century stone Farmhouse with Three Holiday Houses (Gites) & A Large Heated Swimming Pool.

Nestling in approximately 4 acres of park, gardens and fields, Many trees (Poplar, Sycamore, Flame Cedar and Fir) border us on one side along a "Petit Ruisseau" (stream).

An ancient track surrounds the property. The paths of "St Jacques de Compostella" and this Petit Chemin (pathway) runs from the end of our property to "Les Moureaux".

A tiny hamlet of stone houses a few minutes walk away. The name of the hamlet derives from centuries ago and means "The Place of the Arabs".

Access to La Baysse is good from:-
Toulouse Airport (Blagnac, 65 mins away)

Perpignan ( 110 mins)
Carcassonne (45 mins away)
The A62 Motorway or Route National N113 (45 mins away)
It is a good day’s journey (including breaks) from the many channel ports,

St Malo/ Caen/Cherbourg/Channel Tunnel.......etc..

We are 50 mins east of Toulouse, just in the Tarn Border, 5 mins from Sorèze, 8c a small medieval arty village, which is beautiful to wander around.

In the opposite direction is Revel c1342 in la Haute Garonne, a small town with a superb 14c covered market square listed in France's top 100 preserved sites. Also Revel being a Major Centre in France for creating fine Furniture - Bronze & Marquetry work as supplied to the Kings and Presidents of France.

The stunning back drop to our area are The Black Mountains which spread through many departments, the northern slope culminates in the Pic de noire (1210 metres) and its southern slopes drop gently (700 metres) to our Lauragais region.

The oaks - beech - fir - spruce woods are a joy for Rambling , bird watchers (240 species) or just visiting the many petit villages that take your breath away with their quaintness (Arfon).

The vast lakes (St Ferreol /Saint Peyres / La Raviège) Dams and Reservoirs are a magnetic lure for fishermen, Cycling,Photographers, the views are stunning..............

The Mediterranean, the beaches of Narbonne are just 90 minutes away. A further 30 mins will put you at the border of the Pyrenees for Spain!.

Between the two are the sun drenched beaches with a backdrop of the French Pyrenees and Vineyards in abundance. Collioure is a must see place to visit as are Perpignan, Narbonne, Carcassonne, Toulouse, Albi, Castres, Castelnaudary...for The Canal du midi,
