La Baysse Farmhouse, Gardens & Gites............

Is a very large stone and timber farmhouse C1750 once holding most of the surrounding fields!! now 4 acres..........

We have created Three Houses (cottages) in part of the existing house formally part stables! and also in the old stable block that is built onto the end of our property. Retaining the Ancient Wooden Beams & Pillars in pine & oak.

Each Gite accommodates 4 persons plus, All have 2 bedrooms Each with separate toilets, showers and vanity units. The spacious ground floors areas,with bright and airy kitchens, lounge, and dining area, all with attractive views over the vast countryside, spacious court-yard & gardens, leading to the pool area.....

South West facing. surrounded by Spirea, Phornum, Orleander, Beech Hedging, Lavender, Bamboos, Rosemary, Mahonia, Many Many Trees and much much more.

Quiet and tranquil the large pool and garden area provides a "Petit Oasis" to relax in and view our hard work!!! (on-going).

The many birds and wildlife will amuse you. Also Horrace and Henrietta (Red Squirrels) can be seen in the trees that surround you playing the fool. Lastly "The chorus of the Toads" brings a smile!

Our Five Plane trees (80 - 150 yrs) in the courtyard are perches for the various Owls that can be heard in the evening and night. And an abundance of birds scurrying on them during the daytime. Nuthatches, Sparrows, Starlings, Jays, Magpies, Bluetits, Chaffinches, WoodPeckers ,Golden Oriols, Tree creepers, Robins, Sparrow Hawks, Gold Finches, Long Tailed Tits....... To name but a few!!...They Said !!!!!!!
