Terms & Conditions for the Houses at La Baysse 1. The Houses at la Baysse are available for holiday rental subject to confirmation by John Jewell & Hayley Lambird Jewell (owners) to the renter (client). 2. To reserve the property you should, email or phone to check on availability, to reserve the dates required.We EMAIL you with the EMAIL booking form, you complete and return to us. Post a non-refundable deposit (35% of rental cost) to the English address below. Booking will be confirmed upon receipt of booking form and deposit(cleared). 3. Payment of the outstanding balance is required 8 weeks before the start of the rental period.. A security deposit of 150 euros due on arrival in cash, for the rental period.(see clause 5 below).If a booking is made within 8 weeks of the start of the rental period, full payment at the time of booking is required. 4.

| 5. A Security deposit of 150 euros, inclusive of a (40 euros cleaning charge )must be paid on arrival in cash and will be refunded on departure, subject to any breakage's and damage in excess of normal wear and tear as assessed by the owners. Any damage or breakage occurring during your stay must be reported to the owners as soon as possible. Guests are responsible for cleaning during their stay and leaving their Gite in a "Clean and Tidy" condition on departure, otherwise the 40 euros cleaning charge will be deducted. We pride ourselves on the Clean and Orderly Presentation of our gites and expect this to be taken into consideration on your departure. 6. The client agrees to be a considerate tenant and to take all reasonable care of the property and contents and not to act in such a way that will be disruptive to neighbours or in the hamlet of Les Moureaux. 7. The owners shall not be liable to the client for any temporary defect or stoppage in the supply of public services to the property, or for any loss damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions or other matters beyond the owners control. Riot, war, strikes, nor in respect of any equipment, plant, machinery or appliance in the property, garden or swimming pool. 8. No person who is not mentioned in the booking form may occupy the gites for the period specified. The maximum persons per gite is 4/5, unless the owners have given written permission. 9. The client and their party acquire no rights whatsoever over the property excepting occupation as a holiday let for the period booked. The client shall not sub-let the property. 10. Under no circumstances shall the owners liability to the client exceed the amount paid to the owners for the rental period. 11. Personal belongings including car and contents are at the owners risk at all times. No responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage. The client is strongly recommended to take out appropriate insurance. 12. Use of the pool is done so at the clients own risk and no responsibility can be accepted for any injury. 13. To reduce fire risk and for the comfort of fellow holiday makers smoking is NOT allowed inside the gites, on the pool terraced area and in the fields due to very dry conditions. We ask you not to leave cigarette ends in the garden. 14. Price will include: Linen, which consists of sheets, duvet covers, pillow cases, all towels, bath mats and tea towels. Welcome Pack, Electricity, Cooker Gas, Hot Water, Heating (when required), Use of Swimming Pool (pool towels are included). We weekly change linen & towels on Saturday Morning...... For rental periods during the winter months there may be an additional charge for electricity and fuel which will be discussed in advance of the booking confirmation. 15. Any chargeable expenses arising during the rental period should be settled before departure. 16. Rental Period of the property is available Saturday to Saturday. Arrivals from 2 pm and departure time is 9.30am prompt. Change-over day & arrivals times may be negotiated, in the low season by discussion in advance of booking. The owners shall not, be obliged to offer accommodation before the time stated and the client shall not be entitled to remain in occupation after the time stated. If you anticipate arriving later than this??? please Do telephone us to let us know. LATER Arrivals Are a Disturbance To Your Fellow Guests & us....We do Not accept Evening/Late night Arrivals . 17. No pets, smoking (see clause 13), nor camping on the property. 18. The website/brochure is shown in good faith. Details and prices/offers will change without prior notice. All details are given in good faith but the owners do not hold themselves responsible for errors. 19. Data protection. We do NOT pass on your private details. 20. Children of family or friends may be present on the odd occasion. We thank you in advance for adhering to the above conditions and are confident you will have a very enjoyable stay.
